Junior Volunteers

If you want to make an impact on your community or spend some time giving back to those who need help, United Hospital’s Volunteer Services could use your help.

Our Junior Volunteer program is for youths aged 14 to 18. We offer volunteer opportunities during each session of the school year — fall, winter and spring. Attend one (or more) of our sessions and spend that time helping patients, families and friends at the hospital. You’ll learn about health care and reap the benefits of volunteering.

We are currently accepting applications for the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions of the 2009-2010 school year.

Volunteers work in many areas of the hospital, including:
  • flower delivery
  • the gift shop
  • patient discharge
  • guest services
  • Starbuck'sŪ Coffee Cart
  • Boredom Buster Activity Cart

We offer three different sessions during the school year.
